Early Islam History Workshop
On Friday 23rd September, Year 6 took part in a History Workshop, focusing on our topic of Early Islamic Civilisation.
After some warm up acting activities, the children began to rehearse for a performance assembly to share their knowledge about the ancient city of Baghdad and the Golden Age of this region, up to its downfall to the Mongols.
In the afternoon, Year 6's family members and KS2 children came to watch our performance. An incredible effort, showcasing the children's confidence and drama skills to retell the story of Baghdad and the House of Wisdom. And a huge thank you to the family members who were able to come along and support the performance!
