On Friday 13th January we opened our school library and we were lucky that we had the author Dan Smith in school that day to officially do this for us. Dan Smith then stayed in school for the full day carrying our a number of workshops with the children in Key Stage 2. The children all enjoyed the opportunity to meet an author. 

The children all received a new book and a book mark to celebrate the opening of our Library. The children are keen to get into the library and start to borrow books.
